As we recognize the significant contribution of workplaces, communities, learning leaders, learners and cities to Canada’s well being and prosperity, we have matched a significant Canadian metal or mineral to each of these awards. The color of each metal is matched with the color of an apple to highlight both the connection and significance of the element in Canada. In 2025, awards are being given to workplaces and communities through an application process.
